Corner Bakery vs Ada's - opinion

leah | Dec 12, 2005 07:13 AM

we were in Chicago this weekend and had breakfast at both. Corner Bakery on Wabash MUCH better than Ada's. At Corner Bakery I had one of the breakfast scrambler's but tasted a croissant and the swiss oatmeal as well as the crisp raisin thingys that are awesome. Ada's was just mediocre. I hate getting my condiments like sour cream, syrup, applesauce etc in little plastic containers. It was basically like a diner in a nicer setting, i.e. big portions and a brusque, older waitress. Others who ate w/ me seemed to like their omlettes though.
