Help!!!!! I have put a whole corned beef into my crock pot (I cut it in half and layered one piece on to of the other) Most of the beef is covered with liquid, expect for the top fatty layer, and the lid is on securely. I was hoping to cook it overnight, but am concerned that it isn't completely submerged. Could this lead to an unsafe food situation? I would hate to get my guests sick (although they usually drink too many beers anyway!!!!). I only have this one crock pot and it seemed like a good idea to cook it this way. Should I go for it, or should I refridgerate it and cook it in a pot tommorrow? Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!
