I'm interested in picking up some Copper River salmon now that it's in season. Early reconnaissance has revealed that it's $26.99/lb. at Ralph's in West LA and $38.99/lb.(!) at Santa Monica Seafood. My questions are:
Does anyone know any other markets in LA (or San Gabriel Valley) that's carrying at a cheaper price?
How long does it normally stay in season?
If I wait a week or two will the price go down?
Any truth to the rumor that supply is down this year, hence the prohibitive prices?
