Copper pots: Re-tinning and lids

Parmancrane | Jan 14, 201402:11 PM

Hi! two questions: Am looking at various places to have my pots redone. Will probably use Rocky Mountains for most of my pots, but I have a couple that are very large and their rate goes up after 18". I was considering giving Metal Coating Company in Ohio a try. It seems that I remember seeing someone on the boards recommending them at some point, but can't seem to find the thread. Any one out there used them? Recommendations? Also, was curious as to whether anybody have a good source for old copper lids. Seems that I am always finding great pans, sans lids. Really need to stop buying pots and pans and focus on lids for some of the ones I've got! :-)
