I have an opportunity to purchase some copper at a really great value. One of those too good to pass up deals. Most of the pieces are the Cuprinox line(2.5mm, stainless lined, cast iron handles). Some like the stock pot are the m'tradition line(hand hammered, tin lined). There are also some unlined pastry pieces to pick from(zabaglione, preserve, sugar pot).
I can purchase up to three pieces. I already have from the Cuprinox line the large roaster and an oval gratin, and a small paella pan. I have a 12" skillet from the lesser line(forget what it's called...it's 1.6mm and did slightly warp on me but is still serviceable).
I'm trying to decide what to get. My husband wants the stock pot so we'll get that. I think I'll get the 9.5" saucier as well. I'd really like an 11"/5qt saute pan as well but unfortunately it's not on the list available to me.
Not sure if I should instead pick a sauce pan, replace the 12" skillet with the better quality Cuprinox, or go with the 10" skillet instead.
Don't do much pastry work so not really considering those pieces.
So...if you could pick any three copper pieces, what would you pick?
