Coppa Restaurant on Washington

my 2nd visit, thought i'd try happy hour yesterday.. Had a Dolce Vita like/sized Italian w/homemade sausage pizza. Very good but not quite up to the level of the tasty DV pies. Nothing to complain about though,, the $5.oo happy hour price is remarkable! Also shared another house speciality,, the meatballs.. three slightly larger than golf ball sized "all beef" meatballs were also very good. Washed it all down with a happy hour French red
Reasonably priced Italian fare tho limited dinner menu, bargain happy hour bites/drinks (bellini was killer) Coppa is a nice stop on Washington.. Warmly lit, attentive and friendly service, attractive crowd, outdoor seating, nothing to complain about except the valet parking, which is a fact of life in H-town.
Owners of Coppa, Ibiza and B19 the same. Chef from SF.
