Cooper-Young (Memphis) Dining News

In an article today in the Memphis Business Journal, the Glass Onion has announced that they'll be changing to an Irish pub concept called The Celtic Crossing sometime in mid-May.

We had lunch at Casablanca Cafe recently. Their lunch menu consists mostly of different pita sandwiches. My husband had a lamb pita that was outstanding. I had a chicken pita that was good but the lamb is better. Their evening menu has nice looking entrees of lamb, salmon and chicken. The owner is the same young man who ran The Morocco Cafe near the University of Memphis where the Azalea Grill is now.

The old junk shop on Cooper is moving out this weekend so the three storefronts it occupies will be developed. The shop is moving to Summer Avenue.
