Cooling off with La Copa Loca's Gelato

In Thursday's heat, I routed myself through the Mission in order to make a stop at La Copa Loca for some gelato. Has it really been more than a year since my visit on opening day? No "spaghetti" gelato specialties on the menu, unfortunately, but I was happy to see that it has a few sidewalk tables. I plopped myself on the Capp side in the shade and to take advantage of the light breeze.

I tried a few flavors and settled on maracuja (passionfruit) and baci (chocolate hazelnut). Finding my old post now, it looks like I'm consistent in my preference here. I still like the serving temperature here too. A double scoop at $2.75 has to be one of the gelato/ice cream bargains out there.
