Cookware suggestions

Hello everyone. I am wondering if I could ask some suggestions for cookware. My mother is having a pampered chef party and I don't really know anything positive about the stuff and my experience is limited.

I am in the market for new cookware though.

I have an old crappy set of the paula deen series from wally world from when my husband and I first got married, we bought it knowing it wouldn't last but we were in our early 20s and broke. It has since chipped the coating, less than desirable. I also have a big beautiful stainless steel saute pan, that we use for everything and a cast iron pan that we will definitely keep.

I love my stainless steel saute pan, its lighter with a heavy bottom and if I properly oil nothing sticks to it. I would love to find more cookware like that. I would love to buy more from whoever made it, but it was passed down from my parents and has no marking on it to see who the maker is.

After this experience with Teflon that we've had, I am kind of over it.

So in short, does anyone know where I can get a good cookware set. I know going into this that it will be expensive. I also would like to know if there is any pros to nonstick, every nonstick thing I have ever had has turned into scrap metal after 2 years of use.
