Cook's Country TV -- Some Questions

So for the last couple of weeks my local PBS station has been running America's Test Kitchen on Saturdays (reruns, I think) followed by a new show from the same people,. Cook's Country. It is shot in what appears to be an old New England farmhouse of sorts (though it looks more like a studio from what I see) and seems to take a less "investigative" approach to recipes, really just more of a straightforward cooking show than ATK.

Since they are sticking with the taste tests and equipment reviews, is it safe to assume this is just a new variation of the original ATK and that the orginal show isn't being produced any longer?

Second question: yesterday's show (9/27) had an Adam Ried review of saucepans. He said that the favorite was still a $185 All-Clad, but that there was a $20 model that was pretty good. I thought he pronounced the name as "Peslin" or something like that, but on the show's website there is nothing even close to that on the list of items reviewed. Does anyone know what it was?
