Cooking with mitmita (vegetarian)?

I went to purchase some berbere and also ended up purchasing an Ethiopian spice blend called mitmita, which I know is very spicy. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to use it? I love spicy food but am still a bit intimidated. I'm a vegetarian so I won't be using it to season meat. Thanks!
