Cooking Lite (Thai)

About a week back i stopped at Cooking Lite on 1-2 Mott st. Its a brand new Thai restaurant by Chatam Sq in chinatown. I ordered takeout. Satay Chicken and Pad Thai.

Now while i was waiting for my takeout this place left a really bad impression. First off they did not seem to have enough workers present or organized enough to handle a crowd. I saw a couple walk in and was asked to wait for a table to be cleared. about a little more than 5 minutes later the table was cleared and the host (who was right by them) didn't even seem to remember they were waiting for the table. a couple of more minutes later they just left. While this was going on another table requested a check and was given the wrong check. Couple minutes after the management realized this they went back to get the check. It took them another 5-10 minutes to bring back the correct check.

Now mind you i must have been there a long time to notice all this, well your right. About half an hour. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because their operation was still new. Now as i sat down to eat my food at home i was totally disappointed. Satay was average and the Pad Thai was horrible. Just way too sweet and not enough sprouts and tofu pieces. I would avoid this place until they get some more experience.
