Cooking and being friendly to planet earth

I recently bought a bunch of dish/hand towels to reduce our home use of disposable paper towels. I'd like to stop buying bottled water so I got myself a reusable bottle.

I'm also thinking to reduce (if not stop) usage of aluminium foil and baking paper. What can I use or do instead, when a recipe calls for it?

I'd like it if you'd share any ideas on how to be more earth-friendly in the course of cooking at home. Thanks!
