I make some great things with pumpkin, but it's all out of a can. I've been thinking about cooking an actual pumpkin, but I've heard it's really difficult or takes forever, and, well, I'm intimidated. Can anyone ease my fears and offer me a tutorial of some sort, either posted here or linked from elsewhere? Is it as difficult as I've heard? Is it substantially better than pumpkin from a can? Is it worth it?
