We've just had a wonderful guest from France staying with us for the second time in a year. What a pleasure having someone to stay that actually enjoys food and is vocal about it. Someone in my home that actually enjoys escargot and moules as much as I do. Someone that has 3 servings of steak au poivre and pomme frites and moans while eating it. Wow. How great is that? I'm all a tingle...

We went for upscale Mexican one night and never having even heard of mole before he asked if there was chocolate in the sauce. Impressive.

Anyone out there in CyberSpace have similar foodie stories to share?
