Cooking with 4 Year Olds

The Missus and I agreed to visit our 4-year old's school and host a "cooking class" for a group of 3, 4 and 5 year olds. About 28 kids. They asked that we involve the kids in the preparation somehow. There will be some basic equipment available, including an oven.

Thought this would be a great forum for ideas. Another parent did pizza, and one cookies. We thought maybe we would do cheese quesadillas. Do all kids like these? What other ideas do you guys have for foods that would let the kids get their hands into it, but that might still have a chance of being edible in the end? Jello?
