The Cookies at Dennis Park Bakery

dymondbolt | Mar 6, 201203:32 PM     3

A few years ago, I discovered my favorite bakery had gone out of business. And with it went their great cookies, breads, Pizza Bagels and honey bran muffins.
Dennis Park Bakery was located in the Mission hills part of the San Fernando Valley.
The recipes that I want to find are those for
1. Fruit Bars - they were chewy and soft and faiely thin.
2. Double Chocolate Cookies - though they were the same shape size and consistency as the Fruit bars. Only in Chocolate !
3. Honey Bran Muffins - theirs were light and fluffy, even with the thick honey soaked into them.
4. Pizza Bagels - I could never figure out which cheese they used or how much sauce they put on the bagel before completing their baking.

Any assistance or advice on finding the recipes or figuring them out , will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
