Abraço has cured olive cookies and Blackhound does itty bitty ones with black pepper. Amy's Bread offers cornmeal-lime cookies, cookies in the flavours of matcha and sesame are found at Amai, and now we have the recently opened Batch which bakes up a range of cookies with Asian inspired flavours...
…there surely must be more bakeries in this city that offers cookies which:
- hover a fine line between sweet and savoury
- replaces flour with cornmeal, polenta, almond flour….
- has unusual/less frequently found flavours - rosewater, black pepper and cardamom to name a few.
