On a sudden whim, I have decided to make cookies to give as holiday gifts. It will be a sampler of three different cookies and I will be baking today and tomorrow (Thu-Fri). The question is how to store them till I can pass them out. Some will be given out on Christmas but others not till later next week. I want them to stay moist and not loose flavor. I will keep them in plastic containers which will be the gift box for them.
Questions: will refrigeration hurt flavor or texture? Will not refrigerating hurt them?
