Have the new Rose Levy Beranbaum (my goddess) and the Food 52 Genius Desserts on preorder, and will nail the new Dorie next.
Have been rather remiss in posting, but last month I bought Helou's book Feast, on cuisines of the Islamic world, and the Ferrandi Patisserie book...haven't had much time with either, but both look delicious. Ferrandi is the premier French cooking school. A friend there, who started out with making chocolate chip cookies after returning from a stint in the US, then became Mister Macaron, graduated from the school and opened his own shop this year. His daughter is following in his footsteps now.
