I asked Santa for a soup cookbook, and he checked on two likelies, Recipes for Beautiful Soups by Michele Evans and Soup of the Day from Williams Sonoma. They are priced on Abebooks and Amazon at $50 to $100+. Are they crazy? Or am I crazy? I get the vapors over twenty bucks. What makes these paperbacks so pricey?
