Here's my dillema: i can choose any one cookbook by a particular publisher for free. I can't decide. I really need both a Mexican and a French cookbook.
I've narrowed it down to:
Rick Bayless Mexican Kitchen
Mexico One Plate at a Time (R. Bayless)
Daniel Boulud's Cafe Boulud Cookbook
I don't need this as an everyday cookbook, more like a resource for nice dinner parties. I want to be able to follow the recipes and have consistently good results (I'm a fairly advanced recipe follower, so complexity isn't a big deal).
Anyone who owns/has used these books want to offer words of wisdom?
