This time of the year another "new" way of cooking turkey emerges. Last year it was deep frying (friend of mine said he can't even find a turkey fryer anywhere). This year it's high heat. And every year someone says "I'll never cook turkey any other way again!" But of course next year it's going to be another new way. So far I have seen brining, deep frying, oven bagging, and high heat. I am going to gag if someone says "raw food".
So why is this "new way of cooking turkey" phenomena? How come no one has a new way of cooking ham or mash potato or pumpkin pie?
