So I just made a batch of bread dough and put it outside in the summer heat to rise quickly just in case I want to make some pizza tonight on the grill. I generally have some homemade red sauce in the fridge but today I don't and I'm never quite happy with mine as a pizza topping, anyway. It's (marinara) too watery. What would you use if you only had canned tomato products, whole peeled, crushed, paste and maybe a jar of pasata somewhere? I prefer not to cook it, if possible, perhaps strain it?. Any recipes?
Thanks!
