I saw it at the shop this morning and bought it. Unfortunately the last time I cooked it was sometime in the late 1990s and I've forgotten what I did. All I remember is I need to slice it, salt it, and let it sit for about 1/2 an hour to draw out some of the bitterness.
Can anyone give me more info? First, is what I just said even right? Second, what's an easy way to cook it at home? Seems like in restaurants it is usually cooked w/either pork or beef but I can't think of what else. More importantly, what sauces would you add?
Thanks! I have been salivating hungrily ever since I bought the ku gua 5 hours ago. I can't wait to devour it later.
