Container to freeze stock - advice needed.

So, I made a lobster stock/broth from the shells from my dinner, but now need to freeze it. Don't have any "tupperware" type containers, and am wondering if I can use large Ball glass jars, or will I have a problem with that. Alternative is zip locs, which I imagine will be messy. Didn't really want to fiddle with the ice cube thing ....
