Consumer Supported Agriculture

I recently heard about the concept of CSA (Consumer Supported Agriculture) from somebody up in San Francisco. I guess there is an organization (Terra Firma Farms) up there that provides weekly boxes of produce (whatever is fresh that season) to consumers for a monthly fee.

It sounds like a great idea; maybe even a step up from Farmer's Markets. Does anybody know if there is anything similar available in Los Angeles?
