Conservative eating in the Mission

vulber | Jun 17, 2011 01:04 PM

Have some guests tonight that aren't really too adventurous with food; normally my go-to choice in the Mission for this would be Luna Park (or the former Monk's Kettle), but there aren't any reservations available for 6:30, and I don't want to have to wait a while.

Grub looks intruiging, but I haven't heard any reports on here, and the Yelp reviews are all over the place. South End Grill 'N Bar also looks good, but there usually doesn't seem to be many people in there, and I think they want a place that feels a little lively.

Am I missing something obvious?
