One of my favorites disappointed last night, so here are some things to avoid. First though, they always honor reservations within a few minutes of the desired hour, the staff is super friendly and efficient and they finally discovered that oysters from Baja are better than any from the lauded Northwest. But never, never order the clam cakes, I had to try them and they are awful -- something mushy inside an overfried coating, certainly tasting nothing like clams. And the fish and chips, which I have had often, meant fish which had been sitting around for a while after cooking so the breading was soft, and fries which were, well, limp. From now on I'll simply not order anything breaded or fried, which come to think of it is a pretty good rule anyway.
