My husband and I are visiting NYC over Labor Day weekend and I see that restaurant week has been extended over Labor Day. We are looking for a really fabulous place for dinner on Sat night. I'm beginning to think that while restaurant week appears to be a good deal, our menu choices at any of the participating restaurants will be extremely limited. So much so, that we may be better off ignoring the list of participating restaurants altogether. Any opinions or suggestions?
We're looking for either a really excellent French restaurant or some delicious New American food, in the same vein as Union Pacific perhaps. Last month I ate at db bistro moderne, it was delicious but I'm looking for something a bit more special this time. Thanks!
