Completely (Chemical and Plastic) Odor-Free Rice Cooker?

99Jason | Apr 25, 201806:38 AM     3

I'm sensitive to odors and chemicals and have had nothing but trouble trying to find a replacement for my 20 year old National (Panasonic) rice cooker which has an unreplaceable rusting and scratched cooking pot. I find all the Zojirushi's have had a horrible chemical odor that never really dissipates (same issue with their thermos's). I considered a Cuckoo but the man at my local Korean market sardonically assured me that "all rice cookers smell".
Can anyone recommend something they have had direct experience with that's odor-free?
