Comparing Polly's Pancakes w/ Boston's

opinionatedchef | Aug 29, 201510:22 PM     3

We will be in Burlington VT the end Sept-very beginning of Oct, then traveling on a Friday to Portland and North for the week. Looking at routes, we could detour to Sugar Hill NH pretty easily and we've never been there before. I would love to hear from CHs who have eaten Polly's pancakes, and also some in Boston, and could counsel me whether to detour for Polly's or not. In Burlington, Penny Cluse and other spots serve up some neat pancakes (We are whole grains and fruit oriented for pancakes; the denser the better for us), ditto Portland I'm sure, so the 'itch' may resolve itself along the way, but I'd like to hear your opinions. Thx much!
