I've been arranging a fun outing for some people from my company that will be in all day meetings here in Philly in July. The activity that seemed to appeal most to everyone is the Lion King, so I have tickets for the group to see this production on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm. However, in addition to the play the group will also need to be fed, so I did some research on restaurants within walking distance of the Academy of Music, and thought that Zanzibar Blue seemed like a good choice. The menu seems varied enough that even someone like me, a picky vegetarian who eats no seafood, could find something to eat.
So, my question for those of you who know more about Zanzibar Blue than I do is, does this seem like a good place for a group of 12 (all women) to go to dinner before they see the Lion King? Please keep in mind that part of the reason I chose this restaurant was that the two "big-wigs" at the meeting are from the South (Florida and Louisiana), and I thought the food complimented their heritage well. The rest of the group resides full-time in PA, NJ, and VA.
Thanks in advance,
