Comments please on Paris 3 day itinerary in September

brammie | Jul 23, 2016 03:59 AM

We as a couple will be in September for 3 days in Paris (long weekend). Based on research on previous threads on this site, John Talbott’s Blog, Paris by Mouth and Michelin Guide, I was overloaded with choices.
I therefore decided to plan lunch and dinner around my tourist sightings during those 3 days and/or what is most convenient for me in the neighbourhood of my hotel (Porte D’Orleans 14e District, travelling with public transportation).
Looking for classic French food averaging 60 euro’s per person incl. drinks. Modern and contemporary twists are welcome, but not too trendy and experimental.

Ok so here I go:

- Friday
Planned activities in the morning: Musee Orangerie, Tuileries, Louvre (1st part of visit before the lunch)

Lunch options in the neighbourhood:

1.) La Regalade Saint Honore
2.) Zebulon
3.) Juveniles

Planned activities in the afternoon: 2nd part of Louvre (open till the evening) until dinner.

For dinner I reserved at Alliance Restaurant already.

- Saturday:
Planned activities in the morning: Eiffel Tower, Musee Rodin.

Lunch options in the neighbourhood:

1.) Bistrot Belhama
2.) Café Constant (sadly they take no reservations)
3.) Les Coccottes (sadly they take no reservations)

Planned activities afternoon: Musee D’Orsay and maybe some shopping.

Dinner: On way back to hotel we plan to eat at Aux Gates Enfants or le Conrichon, because it is convenient on the way back to our hotel.

- Sunday:

Planned activities morning: Pompidou museum

Lunch options: Benoit, open for other options here?
After lunch we will leave Paris.

Can you please comment on my itinerary? Will report back off course after our visit.
Thank you very much!
