VI has been touting a place on Fullerton west of Kedzie for what he describes as "amazingly great" and as perhaps the unique chow destination in Logan Square. The chicken soup was terrific, with great chunks of gizzard and liver and neck in a rich broth with plenty of ahi (garlic cilantro etc in liquid), the lulo shake was pleasant, but I'm beginning to think I don't like columbian chicken. I had a leg and a thigh and they were gummy and mushy, with an unpleasant stickiness on the outside and a feeling that they had been cooked too long. I felt the same way about my meal at the flying chikcken on lincoln near grace. Is this par for the columbian chicken course?
