Colonial Inn, Oreland

Just wanted to let people know that if you are ever in the Fort Washington/Glenside area, the Colonial Inn on Park Avenue in Oreland has been redone. The place is clean, (albeit not very well-populated at this point, hence why I thought I'd post), the menu is impressive for a place of its kind, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a good meal in a friendly atmosphere at a decent price...and happen to want to enjoy a nice draft beer while doing so. The menu is very vegetarian friendly, as the new owner's wife is a vegetarian, the chef is CIA trained, and two can easily eat and drink there for less than $25.00 total. Here is the contact information in case you'd like to check it out:

Colonial Inn
31 Park Avenue
Oreland, PA 19075

Thanks and hope you are able to get there sometime, as I'd really hate to see a place like this go out of business. Oh and no, I'm not at all affiliated with the restaurant or the owners...I was just pleasantly surprised enough by my dining experience to want to post.
