Has anyone ordered cold sesame noodles lately? Just wondering whose noodles are up to snuff this winter of 2017. Am looking for a classic, tried-and-true version. Nothing fancy.
Last year I took a visiting sesame noodles fan to Wu Liang Ye, based on a critic's sesame noodles review. We loved the restaurant's old-fashioned decor, but the oil used in their noodles was stale. Empire Szechuan on the UWS used to do decent noodles, but I haven't been there in years.
If any New Yorkers have a favorite spot for sesame noodles, I'd love a recommendation. Thanks.
