Have some questions for the serious coffee hounds out there.
I am a serious hound for wine, chocolate, and various other foodstuffs.
I have tried Jamaican Blue mountain, Kenya AA, and some supposedly Hawaiin coffees (though never from the hardcore Kona growers.)
I once even roasted my own green beans that I got at a local coffee store that caters to old school Italians.
I used to also grind my own coffee just before brewing, but found that ground coffee stored in the freezer keeps for months.
Is there really anyone out there that can tell the diff to the same degree as say good wines, or single plantation chocolates?
Can you actually taste the difference (preferably tasted blindfolded) between coffee ground today, a week ago, or stored in the freezer for 6 months?
Would love to hear from the Java fiends...
