Cobras and Matadors in Los Feliz/Silverlake

We live in the neighborhood, but hadn't visited C and M in a while. It got to a point where we forgot exactly WHY we hadn't visited for so long, so...off we went.

I have to say, everything we had was really really GOOD! The service was great, host was very pleasant, waitress was good and bussing was efficient and speedy.

Thursday night, 8PM, no reservations needed, but there were two large, fun parties in full swing as we entered.

We ordered a stuffed pork tenderloin, small ham and cheese sandwiches (much fancier than it sounds...), artichoke heart/goat cheese croquettes, a REALLY good salad with butter lettuce, candied walnuts, and grapes, and the patatas fritas with aioli and spicy dipping sauce.

To finish, hot churros with chocolate dipping sauce.

Everything was brought out hot and very tasty.

We'll be returning, now that we know it's all good again. Portions seem to have gotten larger as well.

total for 2, incl. tax, tip, and a $30 pitcher of sangria = $110.
