The Clover Scoop Shop | Cloverdale - Sonoma County

Melanie Wong | May 16, 201501:09 AM     2

Cloverdale has a new spot to enjoy ice cream. The Clover Theater has remodeled the lobby to include a scoop shop. The freezer features eight flavors of organic Three Twins ice cream. Seating on tall stools is available at a yet-unfinished plywood counter.

I stopped by recently to try a sundae. Two scoops of the flavor(s) of your choice, whipped cream, chocolate or caramel sauce, nuts, and a cherry. The whipped cream is made with an aerosol counter using fresh and local Clover heavy cream. While the dispensers for hot fudge seemed to be in place, none was available. The sauces were Smuckers straight from the squeeze bottle.
