What a difference a chef makes. There was so much "fusion" going on with each offering (appetizers and entrees) that the food was overpowered. It didn't matter whether it was the pan sauteed oysters, the crab cakes, the scallops or the marlin (was also overcooked)that we wondered if this was the same restaurant we'd enjoyed much better at many times before. The plate presentation was great, the staff was great and our waitress actually knew the wine list (how often does that happen?)
Notwithstanding a fabulous view and very good service, the food killed any chance we'll be back again until we hear that there's been a change in the kitchen.
