Was in Cleveland a couple of weeks ago and in addition to the West Side Market (top notch!! - post below), we had some pretty good food.
Corky & Lenny's was pretty good (the one near Trader Joe's), but since I've been to N.Y. it's not fair to compare. At least C & L has stadium mustard!
The Nauti Mermaid was much better than I thought it would be. Though the inside doesn't have a non-smoking section, the bar wasn't crowded. The lobster roll was very good and reasonable at $9 or $10 with a side. The add on King crab leg was a little overcooked but luckily only the shell was a bit rubbery, the meat suffered very little. The Jo Jo's (like big fried potato wedges, but the insides were very creamy) and hushpuppies were very good and the slaw was a vinegar/oil base that I like a lot but others may not. Service was excellent and if I lived there I'd go often, though later at night the inside might get kind of smokey.
There's an ice cream place that has batting cages (I think it's Bat-a-rama) on Broadway near 480. The ice cream is home made and was very good indeed. Skip the soft ice cream (even with 24 mix in flavors) and stick to the home-made hard pack.
Swenson's was good but mostly for the novelty of kids running up to your car.
Next trip I hope to hit Hot Sauce Williams that I happened to see on Euclid near E 9th.
