Here's a question that's been bugging me for a bit. I was living in Pittsburgh, PA for a while where I was first introduced to Great Lakes Brewing Co. I'm told that the brewery gets a mention in the Drew Carey Show, but I never checked the veracity of this comment. They do, however, make fine brews with titles such as Edumnd Fitzgerald Porter and Burning River Ale. As I understand it, the beer is unpasturized, and therefore doesn't travel well, needing to be refrigerated constantly. Therefore, I have no idea how far beyond Cleveland this beer is served.
Have any of you seen this beer served either on tap or bottle in any Mass. stores or bars?
