What kind of crack was Gael Greene on when she put Clementine on her restaurant "Hot List"?! Puhleeeze. If you like your duck fatty instead of crispy, this place is for you. Or was it
the attitude in that place that left such a bad taste in my mouth? After waiting for ten minutes to be served at a packed bar, the bartender came over and said "the reason I haven't
been able to serve you is because you're standing in the service area" and then walked away and took a drink order from someone who had just walked in the door. Helloooo? Can you say
hostile? I can think of at last 20 places that are hipper, more civilized and have much better food. And here are a few of them: Rialto, Torch, Aquagrill, Waterloo Brasserie, 147,
Blue Ribbon, etc. etc. etc. (p.s. Chez Es Saada is equally obnoxious and so smoky you can't taste your food). Why put up with bullshit in New York when there are plenty of places who
don't serve it up?! Just say no!
