I have such a hard time cleaning my fine colander and my graters (especially my microplane). If I use a sponge it just tears the sponge up. If I don't use a sponge I get little pieces of whatever stuck in the holes. I usually use the spray function on my sink nozzle and spray from the under neath of the colander (the part where the food never touched) and try to spray the food out. No good. There must be a trick but I can't figure it out. What tricks do you guys use?
