I am looking for a classic restaurant (French, New American Cuisine), which has some surprising twists. For example, a local restaurant in my area has bison steaks and phaesant fowl. The restaurant Maialino in Manhattan (Italian)had on the menu a roasted rabbit for two, which I found to be interesting. Can you recommend such restaurants in the Manhattan area for me? They can be 20-40 $ per plate without wine. Thanks.
