I would like to take my Dad out for dinner on Father's day. Given the limitations below it is more about the time spent and conversation than the meal but a nice place and good food would still be great. My first thought had been Oyster House but they are not open Sunday.

Due to a medical condition my father cannot eat most solid foods, his diet is basically limited to soups, smoothies and shakes. He can eat hearty chunky soups, he likes spice and does enjoy quality food and especially good service.

Soup is far and between on menu's from what I can see, especially in late June and both Soup Kitchen and Good Spoon are near my house, not really dinner and been there done that enough I would like a 'real restaurant'

The Olde Bar in the former Bookbinders space looks like an option I assume the food will be good. It seems they do not take reservations which could be a problem depending on the wait - I have no idea how Sunday night rolls there.

Any other ideas?

Oyster House
Soup Kitchen Cafe
Good Spoon Soupery
