The Clam Box in Ipswich is open until December!

It was pouring rain when I drove by the Clam Box this afternoon, so the line was the shortest I've ever seen it! I got a mini-neal with big-belly clams and onion rings - for 14.55, yipes. My friend in Ipswich says that all the rain is polluting some of the clam flats, so $3 is added to the cost of everything with native clams. But the mini meal was a generous portion, way too much for me alone. The clams and onion rings were good - although I remember better onion rings at the Village in Essex.

The folks at the window told me that their last day would be December 12. Huumm, maybe we can do an early Christmas clam crawl?
