C&L Extending the $35 Dinners

Lives to Eat | Aug 26, 200504:13 PM     2

Went to C&L Steakhouse for the first time this week (so I could try the $35 three-course Dine Out San Francisco menu). Since I'm not a huge steak fan, I figured this would be better than paying $34 for an entree alone from their regular menu.

The food was good, not great. There are 2 choices for each course. The $10 Cosmo before dinner seemed high, but very tasty (sometimes I find Cosmos undrinkable). The best deal (besides the food) was a $15 wine pairing with the special.

Apparently to draw in the neighbors, they are going to extend the $35 dinner through the end of September. I will definitely go back for that price, but skip the Cosmo and just go with the wine pairing.
