My never-ending quest for decent- not even good-BBQ in Ohio continues. The menu looked great and yes, you can smell the smoke over 100 ft. away. The pulled pork got my wife's seal of approval, the greens were quite OK, the mac&cheese looked real, the corn pudding, while dry, was OK but CAN'T ANYONE IN OHIO MAKE DECENT PORK RIBS???
Overly sauced, dry, (no, you do not bake on the sauce...). Gotta admit that the sausage and brisket looked pretty good but I test a place by their ribs and since I moved to Gawd- and BBQ- foresaken Ohio three years ago, I haven't found a decent place yet!
Geeze, there were better BBQ ribs in NH and VT (Curtis's 9th. Wonder of the World BBQ in Putney,VT is the real deal!) than in hawg heaven here...
Any other 'Hounds eaten here yet?
Oh, their sweet tea DOES make the grade. As in So. Tenn/Northern Miss. sweet. As in tooth-tingling sweet. Just right :)
